You know you want it

What do you get if you cross a Balenciaga handbag and a bellini? Ok so I’m slightly obsessed with the US series Gossip Girl, the scandal, the gossip, but most importantly the wardrobe has me hooked! I have found myself comparing my shoulder length strands to Serena’s impossibly glossy mane of hair.

The man responsible for these immaculately turned out characters is stylist Eric Daman. Head bands, leather jackets and body con dresses have slowly been creeping into my own wardrobe, mimicking the likes of Serena, Blair, Vanessa and Jenny, the four female leads. There is no doubt that the fashion element is a key ingredient to the shows unstoppable success.

So inevitably I was intrigued when news reached me, that come April, Miss Selfridge will be collaborating with Eric Daman to bring a Gossip Girl range onto the High Streets of London. Although images of this collaboration seem to be like gold dust, nearly impossible to come by, news has leaked that the collection will consist of 8 key pieces each correlating to a character from the show.

Well I for one can’t wait to get my hands on it…Oh to have the wardrobe advantages of an Upper Eastsider.
